Mediterranean at C-Mine
After the exhibition at the Museum of Photography (FoMu) in Antwerp one year ago, 'Mediterranean. The Continuity of Man' is being shown for the second time. Until January 31, 2016 the exhibition can be seen at the beautiful C-Mine Cultural Centre in Genk, Belgium. Open every day, from 9 to 5. Free entrance.
Sluitertijd
The website of Sluitertijd is online. Sluitertijd is a visual project office, run by Kaat Celis, to promote and coach professional photography in Belgium via temporary photo projects and personal agency. Sluitertijd represents the work of five Belgian photographers: Carl De Keyzer, Nick Hannes, Koen Broos, Arno Roncada and Karoly Effenberger.
Arbeid Adelt
Belgian rockband 'Arbeid Adelt' released a great new CD, 'Slik'. One of the songs is called Méditerranée. 'Inspired on your exhibition at the Museum of Photography', singer Marcel Vanthilt told me. Click here to hear part of the song!

Solas Prize
My series 'Mediterranean. The Continuity of Man' has been selected for the short list of the Solas Prize. The judges, Natasha Egan, Frits Gierstberg, Herman Seidl, John Duncan and Tanya Kiang shortlisted 28 projects out of more than 700 entries from 53 countries.
De Afspraak
I was interviewed in the TV-show 'De Afspraak' (The Appointment) at Canvas TV. Each week a photographer is assigned to cover an event, and invited to the studio to talk about it. I was asked to photograph the unions protest march against the austerity measures of Belgium's rightist government.
